ReadyConnect® is a self-managed conferencing service that enables users to arrange and control their own conference calls, 24x7, without making a reservation or having an operator present on the call. Conference hosts simply inform their intended meeting participants of the date, time, dial-in number(s) and participant passcode to be used in the conference call. ACT offers feature-rich automated services, with a range of conference control features available to the conference host by entering touch-tone options on his/her telephone, including:
- Digital conference recording
- Roll call
- Participant count
- Conference locking/unlocking
- Mute/un-mute all
- Dial out to participants with operator assistance
- Conference continuation (allows participants to continue conferencing after the host disconnects)
Participants in a conference have the ability to mute their own lines, adjust the volume at which they are broadcasting into the conference (automatic gain control) and signal an operator for assistance.
